TRAVEL GRANTS

Applying for a travel award

We are proud to announce no less than three types of grants (A, B & C) applicable to the symposium. The grants are designed to support attendance for applicants from various categories.

A) You are eligible for the travel award if you submit an abstract and are a Master's student, PhD student, Postdoc or belong to a Non-Governmental (or industrial) Organisation. The application process is simple and takes place when you submit an abstract to the symposium.

B) If you live in North America, you can also apply for a travel grant from the Journal Alces, which awards a limited number of travel scholarships. A requirement is that you plan to submit a manuscript to Alces. Contact Roy Rea at the email address below for detailed instructions.

C) The National Parks of Lake Superior Foundation (NPLSF) contribute with two grants to support attendance from North America by indigenous students or tribal employees. Read more about this particular grand at this website.

Decisions will be announced on April 10.
